Haltech Nexus S3 ECU
$2,265.00
Engine management and data logging. The successor to Haltech's Elite 2500, built on the Nexus platform.
We stock it. Unlike the Nexus R3 and R5, which Haltech classes as VCUs because they add power distribution, the S3 is an ECU: it does not carry the 25 A power outputs. It ships as the unit on its own, without a harness.
Outputs
- 8 × peak and hold injector drivers, usable as low side drive outputs
- 8 × low current ignition outputs, usable as low side drive outputs
- 6 × low side drive outputs, PWM capable
- 4 × push-pull or half bridge, 8 A, PWM capable, for electronic throttle
- 1 × ECR output
Inputs
- 11 × 0-5 V analog, with redundancy for electronic throttle and switchable 5 V pullup
- Trigger and home inputs, differential, with adjustable thresholds and glitch filters
- 6 × synchronous pulsed, zero crossing or adjustable threshold: cam sensor, frequency, or 0-5 V analog
Onboard sensing, logging and communication
- 1 × onboard wideband controller, supporting NTK and LSU4.9
- 1 × onboard 4 bar MAP sensor
- 2 × CAN ports with switchable termination
- Onboard logging up to 300 channels at sample rates to 1 ms (1 kHz), 128 MB internal memory
Fitment
- Engines up to 8 cylinders, or up to 4 rotors
- Racing applications where advanced race features and data logging are required
In the box
- Nexus S3 ECU
- 4 × mounting bolts
- USB-C cable and USB-C dust cap
